The Charlotte Alumni Chapter

The Charlotte (NC) Alumni Chapter is located in Kappa Alpha Psi’s Middle Eastern Province. We are proud to have welcomed all of Kappa to the Queen City on two monumental occasions. We hosted the 56th (1970) and 76th (2003) Grand Chapter meetings (national conventions). Our chapter is steeped in “achievement” as men who made great strides for the betterment of themselves and mankind call Charlotte Alumni home.

Airport

From Charlotte/Douglas International Airport: Exit Charlotte/Douglas International Airport via R. C. Josh Birmingham Parkway. Follow the signs to Billy Graham Parkway / I-85. Take Billy Graham Parkway to I-85 North. Travel approximately 6 miles and take exit 38 to merge onto I-77 North towards Statesville. From I-77 North, take exit 16B Sunset Road. Follow Sunset Road until you get to Beatties Ford Road, which is the first major intersection after exiting. Make a right onto Beatties Ford Road and the facility will be on your left at 5409 Beatties Ford Road.

Freeway Access

From North Charlotte: Take I-85 South to I-77 North towards Statesville. From I-77 North, take exit 16B Sunset Road. Follow Sunset Road until you get to Beatties Ford Road, which is the first major intersection after exiting. Make a right onto Beatties Ford Road and the facility will be on your left at 5409 Beatties Ford Road.

From South Charlotte: Travel I-77 North and take exit 16B Sunset Road. Follow Sunset Road until you get to Beatties Ford Road, which is the first major intersection after exiting. Make a right onto Beatties Ford Road and the facility will be on your left at 5409 Beatties Ford Road.

From East Charlotte: Travel U.S. 74 West (Independence Blvd) towards Uptown Charlotte. Take I-277 The Brookshire Freeway towards I-77 North. Exit onto I-77 North towards Statesville and take exit 16B Sunset Road. Follow Sunset Road until you get to Beatties Ford Road, which is the first major intersection after exiting. Make a right onto Beatties Ford Road and the facility will be on your left at 5409 Beatties Ford Road.
